How do you gain access to Delta Sky Clubs?: Here are a few ways:
1.) Delta Sky Club Membership (Two options: Individual or Executive Annual Membership)
2.) Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Card
3.) Customers traveling on a domestic Delta One flight OR traveling in Delta One on an international Delta flight or on a domestic flight connecting to/from a same-day international Delta One flight
What’s the process for luggage handling?: Although lost luggage is rare, Delta has made huge technological advancements that allow you to easily track your bags with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) that provides customers with improved real-time tracking of luggage throughout their travel experience. Make sure to download the Fly Delta app to follow your bag’s journey!
When there are a lot of delayed flights, who gets priority to depart first?: The FAA Tower (Federal Aviation Administration) determines who gets to depart first. When these situations arise, duration of flight and weather conditions are considered.
What restaurant makes the most money at McNamara Terminal?: McDonald’s and Chick-Fil-A are neck and neck. But since Chick-Fil-A is closed on Sundays, McDonald's takes the reign.
Any tips for getting bumped to first class?: Upgrades occur when you have Medallion Status and here is how you can earn Medallion Status on Delta:
Medallion Status is earned for U.S.- based Members through a combination of flying and spending with Delta and its partner airlines each year.
Spending: Earn Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs) or the MQD Waiver
MQDs are earned based on your annual spending on Delta flights and on many partner flights
Platinum, Gold, Silver MQD Waiver: The MQDs requirement to reach Platinum, Gold, or Silver Medallion Status for the qualification year will be waived if you make $25,000 or more in Eligible Purchases during the calendar year with eligible Delta SkyMiles Credit Cards from American Express.
Diamond MQD Waiver: The MQD requirement to reach Diamond Medallion Status will be waived if you make $250,000 or more in Eligible Purchases during the calendar year with eligible Delta SkyMiles Credit Cards from American Express.*
Flying: Earn Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) or Medallion Qualification Segments (MQSs)
